Meet the Doctors

Dr. Forest R. Pagett

Dr. Pagett graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 1992. After spending time as an associate in a dental practice in Dalton, Georgia, Dr. Pagett started his existing practice in Madison in March of 1993. Because of his dedication to his patients and his craft, the practice grew rapidly and is continuing to thrive today. Dr. Pagett strives toward integrity and excellence in both his personal and professional life. He is a well respected member of his community, recognized as a devoted family man, frequent community volunteer, and dedicated business man whose compassion for and commitment to his patients and their overall health has contributed to the continuous growth and success of his practice. Throughout his career, Dr. Pagett has also been blessed to combine his skills as a dentist and his concern for his fellow man on numerous mission trips in the states and around the world. Dr. Pagett and his wife Caryn have been blessed with two sons and three daughters. When not working, Dr. Pagett enjoys spending time with his family, doing anything outdoors, serving as a coach for the local recreation department, and helping with his kid's church youth ministry group.

Dr. Joshua E. Whetzel

Dr. Whetzel is a recent addition to Pagett Family and Cosmetic Dentistry and is proud to serve the community where he grew up. He attended Morgan County High School where he was a member of the baseball and wrestling teams and in the band.

He attended Georgia Tech and Georgia College and State University for his pre-doctoral education. He attended The Medical College of Georgia, School of Dentistry for his post graduate studies. Dr. Whetzel is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, and the Eastern District Dental Society.

Dr. Whetzel is a recent graduate of MCG where he served as his class president. While a student, he was awarded the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Student Award for outstanding achievement in esthetics, as well as The American College of Dentist's Outstanding Leadership Award for the most potential impact on the profession of dentistry.

Dr. Whetzel is committed to providing the best dental care possible using the most up to date technology available through continuing education. He hopes to continue to expand his scope of practice to offer a wide variety of procedures to meet our patient’s wants and needs. In his spare time, Dr. Whetzel enjoys spending time with his family, working in the yard, and enjoying the outdoors.

He, along with his wife Jacquelyn, have two girls Ellison (age 3) and Evan (age 1), and are active members of their church.
